The emission control light flashed up on the dash last night on my way home, no idea what the reason is as the car drove normal with no problems.

Anyway called Audi road side this morning to take a look at it as the manual said to get immediate tech help if this happens. Guy is due here by 9am so lets see what happens.

Yes he came on time, very helpful guy.

Ok so turns out that a link on the intake manifold flap was disconnected so the flap is unable to open and close properly depending on how much throttle you give it. The car has to go into the garage to get sorted now, so see what happens, going to try and get it booked in for this week.

He did say it was still ok to drive even with it off, but just not to blast it hard. I think i'll just leave it alone and take the A4 for now.
