Maybe everybody knows this already but since this is my first electronic parking brake audi I thought I'd mention it. The brake automatically disengages as the clutch is engaged as long as the seatbelt is fastened. It won't release if seatbelts are unfastened unless you manually do so. Nothing major--just a feature I hadn't seen before.

Yep - correct. And If you have the Audi hold (or hill?) assist option, you cannot engage it without your seat belt on, and if when stopped you remove your seat belt, it engages the parking brake which then needs to be disengaged manually. I turn it on in town, and when I get home or to my office, I remove my seat belt to maneuver, and this engages the parking brake which is a nuisance some times, but have gotten used to it now which is fine.....
