Thought I’d ask everyone, as unsure what I should be achieving, but is the max BHP about right?
My car is a B8 3.0 S5 with exhaust, air filter and intake with stage 1 map.

That’s reassuring to here
Sounds good to me but what do I know I have a 3.0 diesel! Plus every dyno is different.. where did you get it dyno'd

Surrey rolling road, which I have been told has a decent reputation down this way but it’s also the first I have done so can’t compare either
395 bhp is a little bit low compared to what most stage 1 remaps produce. It can depend on where you take it and how accurate the rolling road is, and how skilled the operator is.
The 3.0 supercharged engine can make a 100bhp + easily from a stage 1 and often a damn site more.
My A6 3 0 tfsi was 290 bhp std as they are detuned compared to the S4/S5 engine (328 bhp). A stage 1 remap with air inlet pipe and k& n filter produced 443 bhp and that was 5 years ago.
I am taking a B8 S5 sportback to Mrc for a stage 1 remap next month with 100, 000 miles on it, so it will be interesting to see what figures it makes.

Is that 395 at the wheels or calculated engine power?

At the Wheels
Well unless the losses are very low then that's probably the best stage 1 peak I have seen.
It would be good to see the whole graph showing torque and power figures
I can never get the right calculation for drive train losses. Never looks correct to me when I try working out at the wheels power or at the wheels to crank. :)

Off to Mrc on Wednesday as promised to get a stage 1 remap and picked up an intake to increase the supercharger whine + increased airflow into the throttle body.

Will post the results when I'm done.
