Been searching videos etc online.. I can't figure out how this wire latch integrates with the hood release mechanism?!??!

Send me pics of how it goes and your paypal ..first one wins haha.. I need my hood to work!! The wire was missing when I got the car so audi got me this one. I also can't see where the plastic clips onto...

OK I'm worried I don't have a plastic grommet on the end of the wire that appears to enter the lock mechanism and also you have a cover over part of the lock mechanism I don't have...

If it's possible to remove that lock mechanism cover easily to see how it latches inside that would solve it for me..
I have a 2013 S5...

Thanks.

OK so solved my own issue... should clarify if you have a right hand drive this is one of those things that is different..
8T2823531A would be the correct cable which is longer and has a ball bearing end and not part 8T1823531B which is pictured above....

You also need the hood latch cover 8k1823746 and hood latch clip 8t0823740.
