As per title, my B8 A5 driver handle doesn’t open the door anymore.
Works fine from the inside, but does nothing on the outside.
Just had the lock off in case the handle somehow came off the lug inside, sat it back behind the lug as I believe it would sit, still nothing, there’s no tension on the door handle.
What’s the likelihood the cable attaching to the latch has snapped? Has this happened to anyone else?

Aye both of my door handles went on my B8 A5 coupe. Tends to be worse when cold and one of mine went when i pulled the handle while unlocking the door at the same time.
One of the door handles ended up feeling like it wasn't even connected and I have a feeling it snapped something that'd worn with age.

Had a local garage replace both of the lock mechanisms. It cost a couple hundred all told with labour and haven't had issue since. See if you can have a word with your local garage.
