Don't get too excited, I just tried it

Ignition off, windows open, doors closed but not locked, copious amounts of water poured over the sensor area and...nothing. Just my neighbours looking at me slightly strange.

Great feature though if it can be enabled with a VAGCOM...

Had a brain wave!! I repeated above procedure with the auto wipers in the "on" position....still nothing...neighbours looking concerned now.

For the Audis, I'd check the MMI for a "rain closing" menu item. I'm crossing my fingers.

I can't see it in my MMI I'm afraid....
