Does your A5/S5 support Rain Closing? (Euro owners especially)
Late-model VWs like the MkV Golf/Jetta and our Eos, when equipped with a rain sensor, support a feature called "Rain Closing." When the ignition is off, the doors are closed, and the windows are down, the car monitors the rain sensor, and closes the windows and sunroof if it starts to get wet. This feature isn't enabled in the US market (I'm sure lawyers have something to do with it), but it can be switched on using a VAG-COM cable and software.
I think this is one of the coolest features, and as soon as I got my own VAG-COM I enabled it on my wife's car. I also tested it out for a good half hour when I was done.
However, the word is that recent rain sensor-equipped Audi models, at least through the B7 platform, don't support this feature. Does anyone know if the B8s are different in this regard? The reason I ask the European guys is because it's likely to be enabled in other markets, even if it doesn't come turned on in North America.

Ignition off, windows open, doors closed but not locked, copious amounts of water poured over the sensor area and...nothing. Just my neighbours looking at me slightly strange.
Great feature though if it can be enabled with a VAGCOM...

I should mention that on in the VWs, the feature has to be turned on in the MFD. For the Audis, I'd check the MMI for a "rain closing" menu item. I'm crossing my fingers.Don't get too excited, I just tried it
