Anyone has any idea about that ? I wish there will be an E-gear, but does anyone know something for certain?

Thanks in advance!

if you meant e-gear as in the dual clutch s-tronic gearbox found in the TT, then the answer is no. the S5 will not have the s-tronic....at least not for model year 2008. see this thread here:

but judging from your title, don't think u meant the S-tronic.. if u meant paddle shifters, then yes... all S5 tips should come with the paddle shifters....

if the e-gear that you mentioned is smth else altogether.... then i don't know.... @[email protected]

The thing I know was will the S5 have ability to change gears from it's steering wheel - the buttons with the "+" and "-" written on them? :)

I used E-gear because that's how it's called for the Lamborghinis and thought that u might know it :p

thx again

e-gear is lamborghini's marketing terminology for their "shiftable" automatic with paddles, it is not a dual clutch setup.

It's not called the same (audi calls it tiptronic), but it is a "shiftable" automatic.

e-gear is actually the same as r-tronic, not s-tronic.
