There are some posts about Dipsticks for the B8 / 8.5, you should check these aswell. Generally through the infotainment system is enough for day to day use, but I always have a dipstick for emergency

Brill makes sense I guess I had a 2008 audi s3 8p with manual dip stick now to a 2010 audi A5 with outone lol but I guess I could buy one as a back up thanks for the reply mate

Given this engine has oil consumption issues I purchased a dipstick as backup. Yes the MMI is fine for weekly checks but once a month 1 do like to check using dipstick.

I bought this and also cut top of the handle...just in case Part number is on Youtube comment .

Brill thanks mate yep iv ordered one just for your own mind to actully check it physically lol so I'll cut the top half of handle aswell when ot arrives

As soon as I bought my very sad and neglected A5 with the 3.2 V6 engine I purchased a dip stick. SOOOOO much more peace of mind!!!!
