On the digital oil level readout, what is the difference in volume between minimum and maximum levels? In litres if possible.

In other words, if the oil level is at minimum, how much oil is required to take it to maximum?

Thank you

the answer to yr question is: one
just like a physical dip-stick, the volume between min and max is 1 ltr.
I never let it go down to minimum and I never filled it up to maximum.
let it go down to 25% and add oil to 75% = 0,5 ltr.

Thank you Fred, for confirming. I am conscious about the oil burning issue on these, so keeping an eye on consumption.

Great advice re the refilling as well. To confirm, what is the correct grade of oil for the 2.0 petrol? I read 5w/30 but speaking to Audi parts they’re telling me I should be using 0w/30?

And to further complicate the matter, ETKA tells us in the U.S. with PR codes TG6 & AU8 that the engine oil spec is 5W-40 (VW 502.00/505.00) for our B8.5 2.0T engines (we use Liqui Moly Leichtlauf HT 5W-40 in ours). --g
