Hi guys,

I am currently in the process of putting a new engine in my 2008 A5 3.0 TDI 239bhp. Using my ancillaries ie Turbo, DPF etc. The two engines are CAPA and CCWA.

Could anyone advise on the differences between these two engines?

The car has the MTM 300bhp remap. As that’s software I assume it won’t make any difference?

I'm pretty sure the egr operation is different, probably would be best to flash to base software.

In addition, the fuel pump is different.

Stronger fuel pump. Better for mapping.
