The dealer issues appear to be limited to the US and not other countries.
deposit down but.........
I placed a 1000$ deposit to initiate the build process of my phantom black/magma red S5, with expected delivery by end of February or by mid-march.
I have read horrible stories that this delivery is not accurate and it will probably be later. Now, I can see that AUDI has messed up but I've told my dealer that if the car won't arrive by the time he predicted I will pull back and get my deposit back and wait until the fall to pick one up.
Do you believe that Audi will deliver the cars on time or earlier? Any official or inside info anyone can provide?
Any additional thoughts?
p.s On the contrary, if that works out I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!

I think it's highly unlikely that they will deliver a car early. The factory is already clearly behind. However, mine came 3 weeks early. But that was back in september, when there wasn't a problem with A5 orders in the UK.
