Loving my blk/blk S5. However I like the magma red interior. I was thinking of some custom leather work done. Two-tone seats and then the door panels like the factory stock.

I don't want to screw up the beauty but i think if done well could be nice. if getting this done do the back seats have to be done as well? is this whole idea gonna end up ghettoing up the car? YIKES

thanks for your input. Also working on install in houston of intake/awe exhaust and downpipes and ecu upgrade. was quoted around a 40 hp bump. I hope so!

if your gonna do it do it right, i.e. do not go for the cheapest possible shop and materials and if you are not doing he rear due to cost don't do it at all.

Im sure you going to get it done by a reputable company. But im sure it wont be cheap. However; bear in mind that when you sell your car will it still be saleable? Will it be too garish for people to live with. Just because we like something it doesnt mean everyone else shares them same opinion. You could end up with a undesirable car. Unless you buy a second set of seats to do as you please with.

Very good points, I want to follow the factory red/black combo as much as possible. The only difference will be the two-tone seats which will follow the example audi has set.

I will ask the dealer if they know someone who can do the work though.

But first is the intake/exhaust/pipes/ecu upgrade. Almost 400 hp,thats what the S5 needs! :)

Not sure how the one piece seats will take to being two-tone, I'd think it would look odd and less cohesive. There are companies around that do this stuff, my son managed to damage the headlining in my car with some skis, its off to a specialist company next week to have an alcantara headlining fitted, thought this might look pretty cool. I'm assured it'll look like a factory install, we'll see.

Another good point, Itwuld have to have good "flow" . I'm thinking the outer seat bolsters in magma red flowing into the inner partof the door panel also in red magma aka factory type application.

I'mvery much not sure, but at this poinot will be exploring options. Guys I'm coming from an 08 V8 M3 just to show you how much Ilove the S5 even with the loss of power.

F.Y.I. the ecu upgrade will be unitronic, awe pipes.exhaust and gnc? intake.

Ihave high hopes, but will do nothing rash. If it happens I'll post photo's and prices.

Thanks!!

Hey Blade, I really like the idea of an alcantara headliner!

Is your installer able to do alcantara on the sunroof shade too?

Alcantara headlinings look the mutts nutts. If you were near to yorkshire area i would be able to recommend someone very highly. Not too expensive to do as well. Just poke your head in a RS6 and see how they look. If you do the pillar trims as well just to make it all look OE
