Not been on the site for a while and realised I missed this place so time to get reacquainted.

Not done much to the car for a while, but did have a cheeky Water/Meth upgrade recently to keep things nice and cool and get a bit more power. Nice tidy boot install courtesy of TTS Performance Parts...

Not had chance to get it dyno'd yet, but when checking the data logs pre install it was retarding the timing when the revs got above approx 4.5k and after the install there is no retardation at all.

Not been dyno'd since before the downpipes were done so expect it should be pushing way more now. Certainly feels like it.

We had our UK team meeting recently at Santa Pod and had the strip to ourselves for a couple of hours (when we had the UK heatwave recently at 35 degrees and track temps were way above that so not ideal conditions). Car stayed nice and cool with the water/meth.

Even with a gentle launch (to look after the relatively new clutch still), a passenger, boot full of luggage (as was staying over) and high track temps managed a 12.5. Given that was the FIRST TIME I had ever done a 1/4 mile I was happy with that. With a bit of practice, a cooler day and no passenger/luggage should be good for 11.x

May get Trups to take the headlights apart again as have had a few more ideas on how to customise them further. Really need to get an updated map done now with all the changes and never been 100% happy with the original map.

The mark 1 with the Merlin 11 engine was 1030bhp rising to 1700 bhp in the mark 5 with the merlin 32.
