Is there anyone in the South East Wales area who could fit Cruise Control to my A5. I've bought the correct unit & I have VCDS so can code it, but I'm disabled & scared to attempt fitting the stalk. Happy to give Beer Tokens!

Come on guys!!! I know that it is not tooooo complex cos my friendly indi mechanic fitted one to our Tiguan and used VCDS to code it.....

Gave up. Couldn't even get the airbag off!!!

I did finally get the Airbag off, but I couldn't get the Engine Module in VCDS to accept the Long coding for Cruise Control it kept coming up with an error? I've put the old Stalk back on for the time being. May have another attempt in a day or 2. One thing that I did notice is the Clock spring on the new stalk didn't seem be positioned the same internally.

Had another go today & success. Clock spring on the new stalk was in the wrong position. Did the coding before removing anything, & it all worked.
