i recently purchased a 2018 Cat N S5 as a project fixer upper, front end damage airbags deployed ect, I'm about 90% done on the repairs, i purchased a whole front end off a rear ended S5 but my new front end came with Matrix Headlights, didnt think much of it at the time but now im starting to get down to the final parts im realising the headache ive caused myself, but would like to do the conversion if possible as its a nice to have upgrade as well as the front sweeping indicators look sweet.
Ive already retrofitted folding wing mirrors and the 360 camera system so Im no stranger to VCDS ect but I've been scouring the net for any info on the headlights but with no real joy. I purchased the Kufatech dongle but the new coding threw up a load of errors and i now realise thats because im missing wiring and maybe modules/level sensors etc, they themselves know little about this as they havent done it yet so arent much help
i think i have to add wiring from the headlight to the A5 module but can check erWin on that but am hoping that someone might have any advice (other than putting the originals back in lol)?
