Good evening, all, was curious if anyone could assist me with my Audi convertible problem.

I went to put my roof up and it stopped about halfway through the procedure and gave me the soft top cannot be used error. I went to manually close it and figured I'd get back to fixing it when I had the time. Now my trunk is filled with water and my "roof wont latch" light will not go away.

I went out and manually opened the compartment where the roof goes and it was soaked, and the latch was not engaging. From the lock to unlock position it moved about one inch would doesn't seem nearly enough for a proper latch and close.

I did lots of research and cannot find anything on the fix, or how I possibly could fix it, or even a replacement for the latch. Am I missing something?
