They changed the throwout bearing on mine, took 3 weeks....(2 weeks for the part to come)...According to the dealer, a lot of S5 have this issue.

Interesting. How is it running now and has it made any difference to before when it was working fine?

Well, I could not shift anymore, so yes it definitely feel better now. However, the gearing still feel a bit notchy, but clutch works like a charm!
