Hi i was wondering does any 1 no of any rated car cleaning products?
and the main 2 i was afdter were blacing out the tyres and polish?
thnxs.

want to ask that again in English ???

I use Maguires Shampoo/Conditioner, Lambswool mitt, Microfibre drying towels instead of a leather and Zymol Carbon wax....but for proper advice check out www.detailingworld.com

oops

sorry about the spelling lol. I wanted 2 no about car products such as tyre gel , and car polish, as i noticed on georges A5 his tyres are blacked out.

so if you no of any products i would be very intrested thanks.

It depends how far you wanna go, really. I'm sure there's some hardcore detailers on the forum

The basics of what I use, usually...

Meguiare's Gold Glass Car Shampoo
Meguiare's Hot Rims wheel cleaner (love this!)
Auto Glym Glass treatment
Turtle Wax Wet 'n' Black tyre shine (This really is excellent... I go through a lot of it. Especially at shows with the Supra)
Meguiare's speed detailer - Good for use before waxing.
Meguiare's #16 NXT Tech Wax Paste. Excellent Stuff. Works well with a rotory.
Auto Glym Paint Sealer to finish it off.

For the Interior:
Good old Mr Sheen/Pledge for the dash... I HATE dash shine products.
ZYMOL leather Cleaner. Absolutely swear by this stuff. OK, it's about £8 for a puney little bottle. But it's amazing. Works amazing on cars with cream leather. Both the A5 and my Supra have cream leather, and it's a nightmare to keep clean.
Interior Glass - Same as above, Auto Glym Glass Treatment.
And a good ol' hoover with the dyson handheld

Well thanks for the advice but just one thing. i have been using meguires endurance tyre gel and that works wonders and just wanted to know if there were any more as this seems 2 spray down the side of car if u apply a bit 2 much. ??? thanks.

When you pickup the car see if the sales chap will throw in an English grammar book as a courtesy.

I think the best car cleaning product is Zaino.

Depending on your budget I like the Swissvax products, although this can run into a fair bit of cash.

In terms of other products to consider :

Try Duragloss 901 shampoo
Depending on whether you have a pressure wash, also worth looking at a foam lance with some Super Snow Foam, available from

www.autobritedirect.co.uk

Then as Blade says above if you really want to go mad have a look on www.detailingworld.com as the guys on there really know their stuff.
