Chrome wheels

Hi pdell, welcome to the forum, I think they would look class chromed, but don't expect a lot of people on the forum to feel the same way as on previous occasions about chrome wheels they haven't had such a good reaction.

Check the threads on wheels, there are a few and you'll see what I mean. I say go for it the S5 wheels will look the part in chrome. Even Audi chrome the wheels on their show cars now.

My suggestion:

Chrome : classy (as SAJ put it)
Stock : sporty

Chrome will get dirtier faster (look dirtier faster)

Yeh be ready to wash on a daily basis, had chromes on the TT and was always washing them due to Audi brake pads creating so much dust.

Silver chrome on a black car would look good. I almost black chromed my wheels for the Meteor Gray. IMO the other colors would not look good with any kind of chrome wheels.

I think chrome has had it's day and it's gone.
For a sporty coupe I would not do chrome.....

from someone who just spent 3+ hours cleaning his wife's chrome wheels, my vote is a resounding 'no', especially with audi's brake dust..
