Hi all,
I'm a bit confused! Seeing an error code from central electronics saying
P0C87 - Charisma switch module
As I understand it, this is to do with audi drive select.
What I'm confused about is that if I put my VIN into the myAudi app it lists - Audi drive select under optional equipment, but I don't have any buttons or options in MMI for this in my car. I've put my option codes from the service book into this decoder ( VW Group Option Codes Decoder ) but the closest thing to it is perhaps 1AT = Electronic stabilization program (ESP) but I don't think that's it.
I'm not 100% convinced about the decoder as it also doesn't list the sports diff as a feature, but lists loads of very specific minor things like Windshield in heat-insulating glass & Left exterior mirror: convex which aren't listed on myAudi.
I did wonder if the optional equipment in myAudi was just a full list of everything, but I think it's accurate based on what I see on the car vs whats listed (alloys, sunroofs, MMi version, interior bits etc).
So, my question is twofold.
1. How do I know if I have this option? I'm assuming not due to no buttons or MMI, but it's weird it's listed in my optional extras.
2. Why am I getting an error code for it if I don't have it? shouldn't it just be...empty?
