Hi all,

I bought an Audi A5 b8 2018 with BO sound system last year. I seen videos about CarPlay but in my car I only have one USB plug (Charging only)+ AUX.
I am wondering if I can upgrade my MMI in order to have the Audi smartphone interface enabled.

Yes mate, search elite Carplay, I've fitted one to my 2007 2G mmi, loads better, also added an android mmb box for full apps like freeview & netflix, YouTube

Your profile picture shows a B9 model. The B8 wasn’t available in 2018. Kufatec sell various telephone retrofits so would be worth a closer look.

That's a Picture of my car and in my registration card it says B8. it's late 2017. On my Audi website it says model 2018 b8 too

I got CarPlay upgrade from my local Audi dealer for 470 euro. a bit dear but very happy with the upgrade.
