Guys I painted my calipers with high temp black paint and stupidly painted the rubber grommits on the sliders and now my brakes won't un sieze, is this because I painted the rubber grommits.

Just about to paint mine. Have you used the paint that comes with a hardener or was it the basic Halfords type stuff, Paint would flake off the rubber grommits but it may have been pushed under when operating.

I used black high temp paint from halfords, gonna take the sliders out at the weekend and clean/grease them.

Painted mine last week and having read your post took care not to get paint near any working , sliding bits. When it came to front calipers I noticed they have QR code readers on them. Left them on as not too sure why they are there. Not likely to ever change them but I'd rather play safe. Did mine silver as I have the grey floating multi spoke wheels.
