When I had my B8 I fitted some LED lights to the boot as it wasn’t bright enough at night.

Thought I’d do the same with my F53 model! What a difference it makes!

I just tapped into the existing lights with a a couple of snaplocks

These were the LED lights I used, only one strip on each side. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224095762300?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&itemid=224095762300&targetid=1140163973689&device=m&mktype=pla&googleloc=1007464&poi=&campaignid=12128875597&mkgroupid=122515749091&rlsatarget=pla-1140163973689&abcId=9300481&merchantid=138357925&gclid=Cj0KCQjwse-DBhC7ARIsAI8YcWLhvcTY-Ky2Q6E_OIT4DPIoCncypSS6Uc5fj3CiHWf8z_AUcYV4hK4aAtjfEALw_wcB -6 pack

Ridiculously thin and also pre adhesive backed for ease of installation!

I have to mention that LED technology has come a LONG way in terms of brightness per wattage AND physical size! Mind you the LED strips I used to use were many times as thick and much less bright than these ones!

Original boot to LED strip
White and red wire = 12V (goes to red wire)
Brown wire = earth (goes to Black wire)

Hope this helps someone in future and super straight forward add on!
