Hi all. Im new to audi. At the end of the month im looking to get an A5 5dr 2ltr automatic. Is it worth going the extra bucks for a quattro? I welcome any input.
A few years back I purchased a 2.0 A5 sportback quattro and absolutely adored the driving experience, especially in wet, snowy or icy conditions. My work colleague was passenger a few times and he loved the car so much he went and purchased one for himself but all be it the front wheel drive version. A few months later he revealed his disappointment at not holding out for the quattro. Once you drive the quattro you will understand, so my advice is, if you have the budget, go for it.

I can personally voice the above comment.
Personally had the 2WD version, was good enough!
But once you move over to Quattro, it’s a whole new ball game! Albeit higher fuel consumption and more stringent in tyre types and tread depth management for a healthy Quattro, it’s worth it if you can budget for it 👍🏻

I had a 15 Jetta FWD. Good, solid car. Moved into an 18 A3 with Quattro. It's a Haldex system but the difference between the A3 and Jetta (same VW platform) was significant. I recently moved to an 18 A5 Coupe with a 6-speed manual. It has the Quattro Ultra setup (different than the A5 Sportback or the Coupe with an automatic) and is fantastic. So much better than the Haldex setup. Go Quattro...

Yeah I agree with all of the above. My A5 was front wheel drive and I really enjoyed her, but now my old S4 Quattro is simply amazing.....
