Doesn't the same company that make the Varta battery, make the Bosch battery? I guess the Varta is cheaper because the Bosch is bigger brand and therefore the same battery costs a little more.

Varta are factory fit!

Both my last Audi's had Moll batteries factory fitted.

is anyone here aware of any common electrical faults because having driven the car last night, battery is dead this afternoon, showing 9.4v

I would get it fault read. VCDS will show battery condition etc Sounds like a bad battery. No known electrical faults that can drain the battery anyway.

I have the battery on charge at the moment and will test to see if I holds a charge without being connected to the car once it's fully charged and see if it holds a charge. If it doesn't then it's definitely a battery fault. Will update later.

I checked for a parasitic drain and my meter was showing 0 amps... Is that strange?
