Hi All,

My B8.5 has the Concert III stereo fitted from factory.

I found the pic below of the back of the unit from a quick google search .....

Can anyone confirm which pin out on the Stereo is used for the steering wheel control's please? I have found the pinout diagram for the quadlock plug which doesn't seem to mention any pins for steering controls..... and the black socket which sits next to the white one i believe is used for the MMI screen control/display. Would either the white connector or Green connector be used for steering control? one must be for the aerial im guessing?

Thank You!!

AFAIK, The steering wheel controls are connected to the steering column control module. Everything is then communicated via the CAN bus.

I think you may be able to source something that connects to the CAN bus and then gives you what you want but I have no experience with it.

A quick search found this as an example, I expect there are a number of such options: CTSAD00C.2 Audi A3 A4 TT Steering Wheel Interface Stalk Control Adaptor
