Has anyone else started their car only to find the front and rear fog light buttons have their respective green and orange lights lit? These are the 2x buttons by the lights Auto/ON/OFF rotary switch.

The first time it happened I assumed I'd pressed them by mistake when cleaning the dashboard area, but they have since turned themselves on for the 4th or 5th time now. And I don't think the buttons are the type that have an on/off state memorised when the ignition is off anyway.

Anyone else had this issue?

A8tech - is this a software bug or a hard fault?

With the other issue(s) you seem to be having, I'd have a nice chat (when I say nice chat, I mean pissed off) with your dealer. You seem to be having a couple of very specific issues with your car.

My vote is to take it to the dealer for warranty. I have never heard of this issue affecting other A5/S5 cars.

It could be something as simple as an option on a VAGCOM. But obviously it's not normal, unless the A5 has a fog sensor?... which I doubt.
