No Simon it won't fit the V8 as from memory they have a flat panel filter. This is for a 2010 - 2015 3.0 tfsi V6 supercharged motor.
I will post pictures up shortly as it looks like this when installed

Is there any real advantage to this other than carbon bling? I have a stage 2 with the std box and K&N filter, so wondering what the upgrade advantage will be?

Hi Tony there will not be a huge advantage apart from the carbon looks good and will help keep the intake temps a bit lower and the air intake hose will allow the air to flow more fluently.
