What do you have installed currently? Radio chorus, concert, symphony or MMI basic/high?

The radio installation uses CAN while the two MMI versions use MOST for communication and therefor they require different modules as well as a different wiring loom. 8K0-051-592 is the CAN wiring loom (for Radio chorus, concert and symphony) while 4F0-051-592-A is the MOST wiring loom (for MMI basic/high).

i have an 08 A5 with B&O but without the navigaton
so not MOST
and the radio is the symphony

I believe '08 (I have heard so from a dealer so who knows is it true) requires perhaps a new radio or something.

The fact that ETKA lists the CAN version as 8K-9-000 001 - would suggest it requires model year 2009 (see the number -9-, 8K in this case is A4 B8 but A5 is likely same). But what about 2009 is it that it requires? I think the radio is different (software update? new connector pins?), but I don't know.

I have the same 08 radio as shown in the photo, CD changer, B&O upgrade. A well respected aftermarket place recommended by Audi pulled the electronics, prepared to install an iPod adapter and couldn't get anything to work. They called Audi dealer who called Germany and were sent photos of what was in the car. Seems there is a mystery here - any ideas?

Help please.....

Hi All, I could use some help ref AMI leads...

I have a 57 plate A5 3.0TDI sport quattro with sat nav (not sure if exact model matters) and my Audi garage provided me with part number 4F0 051 510 K to connet my iphone to my AMI.

When I plug it in it says that it does not work with Iphone... I am presuming this means the lead and not the system itself. Can someone tell me if they know the part number of the lead that I need to get. Had the car for 3 months now and bored of listening to the same 6 CD's over again and too lazy to put other ones in

Any help would be really appreciated

Sorry to resurrect this thread but which lead do I need to connect my ami unit 785a to my headunit 6 disk changer in dash with 2g mmi with sat nav and bang n ok set up??
