Almost every time i stop and switch off my A5 the fans keep working for some minutes extra. is this normal?????

Mine does it all the time, especially after some spirited driving. I'm told, by a bloke in the pub so it must be true, that Audi's are well known for this.

I've never experienced a fan continuing to run after engine shut down with any car I've ever owned, except this A5. Which, incidentally, is my first Audi. I too thought this might not be normal when I first noticed it.
