Did the upgrade from Concert to 3G basic. Had to take half the car apart, replace the rear wire loom and create a MOST network. Parts from the top of my head:

1. MMI unit
2. MMI screen, cable and facia
3. center console control unit
4. radiobox and holder
5. wire loom
6. gateway

I assisted in the installation and it took us (myself and a very experienced specialist) 11 hours straight in labour. Afterwards had to upgrade the firmware of the climate control unit and remove the component protection. Took about 1.5 month to source the parts from several suppliers and total cost was approx. EUR 1.000,-.

Yes, I was really glad I decided not to try the entire job myself.
