Audi A5 3.0 TDI Brakes Upgrade ?

You can get S5 disc and carriers and use your current callipers, apparently the caliper is the same between the models. Apart from that as well as pads and fluid I'm afraid there's no cheap way to better and bigger brakes. In my understanding, braided lines will only change the pedal feel and not to particularly much for ultimate stopping power, and certainly nothing for thermal management.

Voshmods do a kit for both front and rear:
JHM do a front kit:

Neither are cheap, but brakes aren't, simples.

I have no particular recommendations towards pads and fluid, I'm sure there are numerous decent alternatives. Look into Ferodo or Pagid for pads and see if they have something that fits. For fluid I'd aim towards something capable of light racing, look at what Motul have to offer.

How did you get on with the Goodrich hoses? I've got some on order for quite a while now ..

They took about 3 weeks to arrive - they say they build them for each order and individually test each hose each build. But now they're on, they give a much better feel then the originals. Not hard as the originals had 11 years and 137k miles on them haha.
Fair enough, I ordered mine 5th of October with no shipping notification as of yet, they spoke of a delay because of a banjo fitting being back ordered but I thought the hose would have a normal threaded end to it rather than a banjo fitting, what did your hoses look like? To my understanding the caliper is the same between the 3.0 tdi and the S5 with only the carrier and disc being different/bigger.
