Hey i was wondering about the different gearboxes in a audi a5 3.0 b8 automatic. I am going to buy a audi a5 but i want the s-tronic/dsg gearbox. I have had a audi tt and i really enjoyed the feeling in the gearbox. So i was wondering if a audi a5 3.0 have a gearbox like the audi tt? And how do i know the differents in the automatic gearboxes?

sorry for the bad english😅

Elias mate your English is wonderful! As far as I know there is only 1 auto box available on the 3.0tdi cos it makes so much torque. Auto with paddles on the steering wheel.

The 3.0 TDI's came in FWD configuration in the UK weirdly enough with the CVT/Multitronic box. If it's a quattro then it's going to be s-tronic except for very early examples 2007-2008 I think might also come in normal torque converter. If it's FWD = multitronic.
