Hey!

New member here!

Today I bought an Audi A5 2013 1.8 TFSI Sportback with 108,000km on it.

I don't live in a snowy country, and mostly planning to use this for roadtrips.

Would the fact of it not being a Quattro affect me too much? What's the real difference?

Also, I don't know much about cars, so would the fact that it's not a Quattro be justified to an extent from it having traction control? (Please don't roast me on this question.)

TIA!

Welcome John and yer dog looks stunning!! Listen, now that you have bought the car there is not much point in your question, to be honest. I had a 2wd A5 and really enjoyed her, you just need to fit suitable tyres for the climate. Which country are you based in???

Thank you for your reply!

I read a thread you made back in 2017 about it, which encouraged me a little after reading tons of negative comments about FWD.

I live in Albania, weather here is mostly warm, but there are tons of mountains I'd like to go visit.

TIA!
