I have a 2009 TFSI 211bhp model and was looking to get the K&N panel filter but they cost like £60 for a drop in filter 
Read online comments and people saying just noise and no gains so left it.
If you want noise maybe consider the K&N induction kit and a dump valve. The ladies(or gents) will definately know you making an extrance.
