I bought a 2015 plate 2 weeks ago, although it hasn't had the software upgrade.

Love the car, however i find it has less torque than the Passat i had previously (177HP DSG).

I test drove 2 other A5 177 cars, strangely both performed differently to my A5 and the Passat...... No idea what that's all about. One was v. rapid, the other couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding.

My advice, make sure you test drive a few cars, just to give you that comparison/benchmark to help make sure you get the right one for you.

For me the car is 90% perfect, once my warranty ends i will be getting it remapped, to give me the extra few mpg and lower end torque..... and it'll be 100% perfect!

No regrets here.

Mine had the software upgrade at a dealers a few weeks back. TBH I didn't notice any difference.

No problems at all mate as far as I know. Only problem really are the missing horsepower and torgue over the S5 I guess!!! Enjoy the car!!!

 

Lots of missing horsepower :-( Nonetheless a nice car to drive. I drove an S6 the other week, I wanted to keep it

ok. the car has basic navigation? Is there any chance to upgrade to MMI plus with software only or does that need hardware change as well?
