AUDI A5 1.8 TFSI 2008 LOW OIL LEVEL

Hi All,

I have bought AUDI A5, after changing oil, oil sensor, bonnet switch the light will not disappear from dashboard.

When I open the bonnet it is not displayed on the dashboard? Any idea what is happening? Oil is there as checked with the oil dipstick.

Fuses may cause it? If yes which fuse is it? It is not listed anywhere for oil level or bonnet

Thanks

Like you I only just bought a 2009 2.0i TFSI so on a learning curve.
I only came across this video couple weeks ago. Watch it from 10:45 as its interesting. It seems you must resolve the bonnet switch 1st. Damaged wire maybe if you already replaced switch.

Good luck

Thanks a lot, actually i saw the video earlier this is why I replaced the switch. Mechanics already checked wires and confirmed all is ok. I was wondering if the fuse can cause it, but not sure which one it is. In the book there is no listing for bonnet fuse.

Thanks for your response

I left the car with mechanics, they found cables to be broken. All is sorted now within an hour. If needed i can send images so perhaps this will help somone.
