Holy Crap! That's some engine... talk about driveable... 420 NM of torque from 2,500 upwards... what it looses in HP to the S5 V8 engine it makes up for in low end torque. I reckon that if they put it in the new S5, the performance figures will be a little behind the V8 for 0-60, but only a few tenths... maybe a second slower 0-100... but when driven on the track for instance it would be just as quick by virtue of having the torque there all the time.

Imagine what you could do if you added an after-market turbo conversion too!

Hmm, sounds interesting - I love supercharger whine after the Cooper S :D
