I think even with the nav it might actually be possible based on what I read already online about the system. I have nav so I hope so.
I emailed a company about a product they have that supposedly allows you to activate the tv function in Europe. hopefully its adaptable for the US system.

Hi,
I have a 2009 audi A5 in the usa and im working on a project to get a computer video signal added into the audi MMI. I saw product number 33985, the "TV in Motion - MMI 2G "Personal" - Audi A4 8K, A5 8T, A6 4F,A8 4" and wanted to know a couple things about it. First, is it only for enableing a rear camera in the usa (because i already have one installed). Second, is the hardware that I have (audi mmi with nav and rear camera) able to take 2 video inputs. Third, if the audi MMI that i have can only take one video input, then can i use that one input with a video switcher and activate it. Right now, the only video that goes through it has a a video overlay on it for when your backing up, would there be a way to turn that off when the camera input is being used for the computer and turn it back on for just the camera.
Thanks for the help,
Tom
