Stuff has started to roll in..

Parts are arriving, it will be a busy couple of weekends.. I'm sure this is old hat for many of you, but I'm excited!

Still waiting on exhaust, rotors, ross-tech cable, etc., but I'm going to install the DEVAL diffuser, wheels, and catch can this weekend.

What will the "catch can" do?

Catch Can will separate the oil from the air returning from the engine to the intake. Its basically a really nice strainer. I bought a Mishimoto MMBCC-UNI in black. You can search the forums for carbon buildup and get lots of info on this topic.

I just had a carbon service done, (it only had 1/8" buildup so it wasn't bad or necessary), but now that I know its mostly clear, I want to keep it that way.
For some reason APR recommends NO catch can, I called and asked and they told me no??????????????

I wonder why?? They probably recommend a supercharger upgrade instead :D The people on the forum whom posted about it seemed to be having success, anyone install one and have issues?
Previously completed...

The controls and pedals I did earlier, the spoiler I'm just finishing today..

Hi , how was the car after apr ecu change ?
Well, the ECU change is limited in its capacity, but I wanted to do it since I'm doing the exhaust and intake too. APR also swears they will release a full program at some point. I'm not so sure though. I can't say about the hp/tq change, but its defiantly smoother which makes the car feel faster. When in dynamic mode, I used to have some jerkiness which is now gone, nice and smooth acceleration all the way up. If I had to do it again I would still buy it, I like the new handling.
Got the exhaust installed last night.. sounds fantastic, thanks AWE!

I also decided against using the catch can I purchased, its new in the box if anyone is in dire need of a catch can. (Mishimoto MMBCC-UNI-BK Black Baffled Oil Catch Can)
I have the supercharger already thats why I called APR---they said no catch can

My mechanic said the same thing, which is why I'm not going to install it. But someone else may have a valid reason :D
Well all pending mods completed except for brake lines. Steering wheel is en route, can't wait for the RS5 wheel to get here.

I also painted the heat shields.

Here are some pics of the process:

Facelift gear shift installed, I found this a tad bit nerve racking since its subjective on how much to heat and how hard to twist. All done though!

RS5 Steering wheel and airbag installed, this was surprisingly easy, 15 min job with only a couple of tools needed.
