Hi,
I had my 2015 A5 convertible serviced at a Audi dealership and on my way back home I noticed that the airbag sign was on. I went back and had them check it. The dealership said that they found mouse remains and a mouse could have been into the wires. I am not happy with the service overall, especially since they didn't mention the mouse remains in the first place and didn't catch the issue during the big 55k service.

I would like to see if it is a real issue. Could just reset the airbag light, and would it turn back on after a while if there is an issue? Is there a good way to check if its the equivalent or the wire? Or should I just go to a different dealership?
BTW, the car had been in my garage for a while due to COVID, I've been working from home for the past few months.

Thanks,
yzgyr

Hi,
well if there was a mouse there it is possible that some wires might "lost" their insulation.
Try to delete and check when/if it will return (the error).
But i strongly advice to have it check by electrician as airbag light could the lest of the problems.

Regards.
