Hi all,

recently installed one of the android units on my B8.5. It caused the amber airbag light to illuminate. Will an OBD2 reader simply clear this, or is VCDS needed?

If you obtain a OBDeleven or Rosstech they can both clear the airbag fault.

Did you not disconnect car battery to do the install? As that usually does not throw up a code then.

Remember OBDeleven requires a point system. But the basic one should be enough for you to do what you need.
