Hi - Thanks for posting this -the other day I arrived home and heard a loud high pitch sound coming from the engine bay which continued even when the keys were removed and ignition off - 2007 A5 3.0 TDI Quattro - the only way I could stop this sound was to disconnect the battery. I ran VCDS and found that the Aircon Pressure Sensor was faulty. I just replaced the sensor and re ran the VCDS - got the message that pressure had dreaded lowest limit - I put a boost of refrigerant gas in and now have no errors in the VCDS but the AC is not blowing cold - also the pressure gauge when I added the gas went to full very quickly and then into the yellow - I actually had to let a small amount out to get the correct reading on the refill gauge - any Ideas?

....any help is greatly appreciated!

Jude
