Hi all

I'm a new member here and I just ordered my A5 last week. I'm getting standard 18" wheels with and thinking of using these during the winter period here in Sweden and buying another set of 19" or 20" wheels for the spring/summer/fall.

I've been checking around for new rims here in Sweden but I can't any that I like because there aren't many to choose. The dealers say there aren't many types made for the A5 yet, because of it being such a new vehicle.

So do you guys have any international websites/dealers where I can order from? I gotta have new rims :D

I like these a lot, but they aren't made for the A5 :(

Thanks in advance

tirerack.com is the best here in the states. However I do not know if they will ship to Sweden. The wheels I liked the best were available/ made in Italy and I could find no way to get them here. The manufacturer did not want to ship to the US.

I would go with a quality forged 2 or 3 piece wheel that is built for the car so that you get the correct stance by having your offsets set correctly. You can't simply order these wheels through a website, you have to call the manufacturer and let them know the vehicle and how aggressive you want the wheels to look. Usually you have your wheels in 4-6 weeks.

Tire rack does this in a day with the OZ Racing wheels. Check out their website. I almost went with a set of OZ Superleggras but decided to save a few dollars. It would have been over $4k for the wheels by themselves.

I don't know how are the regulations in Sweden but in Switzerland you need the wheels to be authorized (homologation) and thus you need to have an official importer's document certifying that the wheels can be fitted on that specific car. So buying in the US would not be a possible option.

So ensure first that you will be able to fit your imported wheels, should you go this way.

Wow that is fairly strict. Here the wheel has to pass USDOT regulations and it can be used on anything.

The spring 2008 collection for rims are droping in here in sweden... but it's very tight for the A5

HR wheels aren't really my thing... a bit too luxary.

I like these, but don't know if they fit the A5:
the ones in the pic on the porsche... either in bronze or in black.

I've ordered a ibis white A5 with s-line exterior package.

If the rims on the new camaro 2009 are available for the A5 I would go for it... but I don't think so, since the car hasn't hit the markey yet :(

Anyone have pic with BBS LM rims?
FWIW, here are some pics with BBS CK rims (somewhat similar in appearance to the LM's, but minus the lip).
