For the curious, I was working on how to do this with an ex-Valeo engineer and while we were able to get it to work on a test bench, ultimately it's not a viable retrofit for the majority of users. There are a few custom lighting specialists who can make this happen for you, but expect to pay dearly for it.

It will involve tearing apart the lights and wiring in a custom control unit, and replacing the LEDs. There was a guy called Parkes Dynamic Retrofits who was doing it somewhat affordably, but I'm not sure if he also did the front lights. He also sadly seems to be no longer trading.

In short, there is no off-the-shelf option to do this. It requires custom or heavily modified headlights.

I have these fitted (they only do the B8 front headlights)- really good but had to send mine off to them in Germany to be opened & retro-fitted, which took about 2 weeks:

Wow didn't know there were readily available commercial solutions for the front lights. What did it cost in the end to have them done for you, if you don't mind?
