I had the exact same problem a few weeks ago with the switch not staying lit. I bought Genuine VW AG Air Conditioning Pressure Sensor 4H0959126B VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat for £25 but turns out it only needed a regas. I would do as TJ001 suggests and take to aircon specialist to check levels (Not Halfords - they told me it was a leak as there was no detectable gas in the system). If you do need the sensor I have an unused one...

You dont mention your car's age, but I agree with these guys that all of our cars lose some gas over time so a regas is always your first stop. Replace the cabin filter too and spray some cleaner fluid thro the system at the same time, makes it smell great!!!

Hi guys, I’m having the same problem, how do I change the pressure switch? I’ve spent enough money at garages since buying this car, I’ll have a go myself
It's really easy, remove the slam panel cover 4 torx screws, remove the plug off the pressure switch then a 24mm deep socket to undo the switch.
You may get a small amount of gas coming out but it's on a Schrader type valve so will only be a little.
Refit and connect.
