We found one wire not having current but dont know where that leads to.....anyone know where i can get the abs wiring diagram? Been searching all over and cant find any.

See attached Self-study guide for the B8 A5 Network. Turn to page 15 where you can see in the block diagram how J104 - ABS Control Unit is connected to the CAN bus (digital signal) network. So, based on the electrical diagram I sent you earlier, there may be just two wires between the ABS Control Unit and the CAN bus.

thank u so much i sent it to my mechanic, but i think we\re still struggling to know the cause of the low voltage supply and where that wire points to cuz its all wrapped up in spirals with smaller wires, could be any one of it, unless we pull out the whole thing right.

I am attaching 2 sets of ABS System Wiring Schematics: One is for cars from June 2008 and the other is for cars from August 2011. Not sure which one is applicable to your car. It shows J104 more prominently and a whole lot more connections to it. I think this is the section that will be most helpful to your mechanic.

I am including a third file with a collection of various pages that shows the J104 - ABS Control Unit and its connections to all other things.

Ok it looks like i may have to replace the abs pump, mechanic fixed all wiring and still showing same error how can u tell if the abs is really dead low voltage supply doesnt seem convincing enough for me and this was working fine before the steering rack replacement and its got no connections to it.

Ok update i replaced the abs module got one frm a breaker with same part numbers gonna have to recode it but when its installed it gives no signal fault. So the reader cant even communicate with the module to recode it does this normally happen? 01316 fault code

Can you plug the old module back in and run a scan to validate that the vehicle wiring is functioning. If that works it looks like you have a defective ABS module.

Yeap thats wat i was thinking we gonna put the old one back in and see if there a signal then we'll know. Thx will update back

ok got my module rebuilt, paid almost 300 pounds, still getting a stupid error now its this

P1653. See my mechanics reader fault code. Car's been stuck for the past 3 mths now and im getting sick of it. Any ideas?
