...I should Delegate this job to Ess5ive, who's write-ups are far superior to mine... waddaya say Ess?

Great Pics there REB!! And thanks for getting them up so quickly!

...I hope to get the vids up in the next few days after a bit of editing... looking pretty good though!
Wow! Lots of hot cars out there....I believe you guys had a wonderful time there.....
I bet there was a lot of rubbernecking going on that day. Call you guys "The Rubberneck Club".

Hi Guys... Here's some pics from my phone/video camera I though might compliment the 'official pics'. (Sorry for the quality; I've done my best to enhance them)

What it's like to be followed by an S5... or two!

Looking back...

I bet there's no 'Dings' in THIS car-park!! ;)

Sorry, just got up. And thawed out.

Great pics showing up - reliving the day again. Turned out really well in fact, really good bunch of characters and Ian was there as well. But Reb. Reb! Reb!!!!
Your pictures. Pit-stop_1. Ah, remember it now? Yes, that's the one, the one with a fat bloke on the left of the screen outside some toilets. Sparking-up a cigarette?

Reb, I'm sure you didn't know ('cos I didn't tell you) but the Missus doesn't know I smoke (yes, honestly) and so I can never, ever have actual evidence of my underground participation in the activity made public!

Chances of her ever participating in this forum are slim-to-none, so I reckon I'm pretty safe but if anyone else captured any pics of said fat bloke, no need to blank-off my number plate ('Ess 5ive' isn't my real reg, honest!) but please plaster your magic pixels over my ***!

Seriously though, great efforts by Reb, Manor, Hilly, Plob, Ian and everyone else, particularly the long-suffering WAGs who brightened up the day somewhat.

Re chronicling the day, 1) Ian's being modest - his write-ups are at least as comprehensive as mine and usually contain more algebra, 2) I was so desperate for the toilet for one leg of the drive (the first one after leaving the pub, strangely) that I could barely see, much less note where I was and how I felt about it and 3) sitting here today, I'm not actually certain where we visited (saw a big dam, got that bit) but suspect that destinations included Bakewell, Glossop (?) Whaley Bridge and numerous other random Victorian throwback villages. But not sure what order and what distinguished them. Know there were a lot of A/S5s about as well.

Will that do?

Excellant pictures.

I can just imagine the amount of looks you guys must of got all driving in town. A Hurd of DRL's. Wow what a sight.

Lol at the car parked near the rock. Thats where Audi parking system advanced should come in handy.

Shame i missed out :(

Ess5... I've put a few pixels over the picture to disguise your habit:

"At the toilet break, Ess5 entertains the assembled throng with 'Largo' from the New World Symphony on his trusty bugle..."

ahaha that seriously cracked me up Ianhp1.

I got to say it looks pretty grey, we need get some more colours to the next meet.
Nice pics and even better cars, looked like a good day all round :)

Love the trumpet Ess5,how much per lesson :D
You won't need lessons Mad - I've never had any and every time I stage a little performance, no-one ever comes back to complain.

Oh, and it's a bugle, by the way, not a trumpet. Best to get your knowledge of brass instruments sorted out mate before we meet on the 7th...;)
lol you guys are funny
So sorry I missed it but:

1) it appears there were more A5/S5s in Buxton than there are in the whole of North America
2) the pics of the *5 fleet in convoy rival the Iron Man pics
3) absolutely loving the improvised onion rings :)
