Thought I would add that this happend a few minutes after filling up on gas. Prior to filling it up the needle was on E. Not sure if this had anything to do with it.
Its a new Audi feature when the car knows its going to get bad fuel in advance. This has happened to me as well but prior to filling up.
Or the carbon canister is purging at the wrong time or a bad fuel cap.I think by opening the fuel cap the vacuum created within the fuel tank is broken. After refuelling the tank needs to re-pressurise and the lack of vacuum from the tank causes the car to stall .
Cant seem to put it into words right now but i know what i mean.
I bet you wont get very far if you left the fuel cap off. Probably stall every few yards. Anyone want to experiment?
